Experience
Working with American Cable, you’ll have access to over 30 years of experience in component engineering and assembly. You’ll also benefit from business management strategy and operational performance steeped in Six Sigma.

Collaborative Partnership
Our engineering personnel works hand-in-hand with you throughout the manufacturing process. When applicable, our engineering and design staff provide suggestions and offer alternative designs or components to cut your costs or improve product efficiency or installation.

Production Timetable
  • Machine shop samples: Within 2 weeks
  • Tooling time (following sample approval): Within 4 to 6 weeks
  • Production parts: Within 6 to 8 weeks

Typically, we can go from concept to production in less than 12 weeks.

From Idea to Prototype
We take your idea, a sketch on a napkin, a drawing and/or concept and turn it into reality. Depending on the complexity involved, American Cable can typically manufacture a pre-release sample or prototype within two weeks time. We can do this quickly because we design and tool our own dies, molds and fixtures.

Approval
Once we have your approval on the prototype, we begin the tooling stage.

Tooling Stage
During the tooling stage, we incorporate any changes, suggestions or modifications you require and provide you with detailed drawings/specifications using our AutoCAD or Pro-E software. Your product is rigorously tested to ensure that it will meet and exceed your expectations.

Production Parts/Integration
Once the pre-production samples have been validated through extensive testing and you are satisfied with the product, we proceed with hard tooling or production. Throughout this stage, we continue to work closely with you. We visit your site or go into the field as necessary to guarantee the final product fits your specific application by ensuring the installation and integration of the assembly with your equipment.

Our goal is simple: provide a high quality product that can be installed quickly and efficiently, making the cost to the customer the best overall value in the industry.
